Muny Sros

Real name is Monica. The reason why she chose the name Muny Sros was because of her family.  Everybody calls her Sros because she has a kind young and “sros” face. She rarely uses her real name on stage, and often uses Muny Sros.

Sros is the youngest daughter of a family of 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. She was born in Phnom Penh in 1988. At only 21 years old now, she has been in Khmer entertainment for already nearly 6 years.

As a girl busy with study, Sros said she prefers being in karaokes and music videos rather than movies because they would take too much of her time, and she is still young.  She can’t afford to miss school for too long. Music is her passion. Sros is studying law in university as a student. She said she is also interested in tourism and hopefully she can work in one of those two fields in the future.

Sros also loves dancing and she likes every kind of khmer traditional dances, especially Cha Cha Cha or dances like Rock n Roll.
